Graduated in forest engineering from the São Paulo State University “Júlio de Mesquita Filho”, master's and doctorate in Forest Science from UNESP-Botucatu. He has experience in the private sector, working in the area of research and development in the area of mechanized harvesting. He is currently a professor at the University of São Paulo - Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture - ESALQ.

The LCF 5900 discipline Reproducible and open processing of scientific data (2025) aims to present the “world” of open and accessible information to the most diverse scientists from various areas. Through tools, software, databases, it becomes an option for sharing information and for other researchers to have access to and be able to reproduce the most diverse types of research.
