Hi!
Thank you for your interest in the DecisionES 2025 Symposium. Abstract Submission and Symposium Registration was dealt separately. To submit an abstract, authors created an User Account.
User Account Creation
- Click the Sign In link atop right of this page
- Click the Create an Account link immediately below the Sign In header
- Fill in your Email Address, and Keycode if one was provided, then click the Verify Email Address button. You will be asked to confirm the address entered; click the Confirm button if correct or cancel to modify the address.
- Check your email inbox (and spam folder) for a message with a link to verify your email address. Click the link in the message to complete creating your account.
- Fill in the account profile form, then click the Create an account button.
Abstract submission
- Use a text editor of your choice to compile your abstract: title, author(s), affiliation(s) of author(s), and abstract text. Your abstract body should have 100–500 words.
- Fill in the submission information for the title, author(s), and affiliation(s) of the author(s).
- Your abstract can be presented as an oral or poster. Therefore, you will be asked to indicate your presentation preference. The Scientific Committee will announce the evaluation results and, constrained by limitations on the program, might suggest a change in the delivery format originally suggested (oral or poster). Those not favorable with the change, will have the opportunity to request reconsideration or to withdraw the submission before June 15th, 2024.
- Accept the license and copyright agreement and the symposium rules of conduct and proceed to the abstract preview.
- Submit your abstract. A confirmation message including your abstract number will be displayed and you will receive a confirmation email providing your abstract number. Should you not receive the abstract submission confirmation email within 24 hours, please check your spam folder first and then contact us at decisiones2025@luizestraviz.com.
Abstract guidelines and rules
Abstract text
- The abstract body should be short (100–500 words), clear, concise, and written in English with correct spelling and good sentence structure.
- Do not include mathematical symbols or equations in the abstract body.
- Abstracts should be carefully compiled and thoroughly checked before submission, in particular with regard to the list of authors. Modifications after submission and abstract processing are not possible.
Responsibilities
- The official language of the DecisionES 2025 Symposium is English. Simultaneous interpretation is not provided. It is therefore expected that authors will be able to present their research in the English language. Presentations in Spanish or Portuguese will be treated as an exception, and a specific request for delivering the presentation in Portuguese or Spanish must be sent to decisiones2025@luizestraviz.com before June 30th, 2025.
- The submission of an abstract carries with it the obligation that it is actually presented at the meeting by the author or, at least, by one of the co-authors. If this is not possible, please withdraw your abstract as early as possible. Without an early withdrawal, abstracts not presented at the conference are marked in the online program and listed as no-shows. The corresponding HTML/PDF abstract will no longer be available.
- The content of DecisionES 2025 Symposium abstracts is the responsibility of their authors. The organizers reserve the right to reject abstracts that are not written in English, are out of the scope of the DecisionES 2025 Symposium, do not meet basic standards of scientific quality, or do not adhere to conventional standards of civil discourse and common decency.
- By submitting an abstract, authors accept the license & copyright agreement and agree to follow the symposium rules of conduct. To protect the integrity of authorship, only persons who have significantly contributed to the research and abstract preparation should be listed as authors. Thereby, no fictitious names or AI tools are allowed to be listed as authors or co-authors. The submitting author attests to the fact that any others named as authors have agreed to the submission. Deceased persons who meet the criterion for co-authorship should be included.
