-Graduated in forest engineering from the São Paulo State University "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", master's and doctorate in Forest Science from UNESP-Botucatu. He has experience in the private sector, working in the area of research and development in the area of mechanized harvesting. He is currently a professor at the University of São Paulo - Luiz de Queiroz College of Agriculture - ESALQ.
