-Graduado em engenharia florestal pela Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho", mestrado e doutorado em Ciência Florestal pela UNESP-Botucatu. Possui experiência no setor privado, atuando na área de pesquisa e desenvolvimento na área de colheita mecanizada. Atualmente é professor pela Universidade de São Paulo - Escola Superior de Agricultura Luiz de Queiroz - ESALQ.
